What to Prepare for a Mobile Notarization

• A valid, unexpired government-issued ID

  Your document fully completed (except the signature you are notarizing)

• All required signers present with their IDs

• A safe, well-lit location for the appointment

• A clean surface to sign on (table, desk, counter, etc.)

Helpful Tips:

• If witnesses are required, have them present (or request witness service ahead of time).

• Ensure names on the ID match the document.

• Do not sign the document ahead of time — wait for the notary.

• Allow enough time for the notary to travel and complete the appointment (usually 30–45 minutes).

What to Prepare for a Loan Signing

• All loan documents printed and ready (unless the signer already has them)

• A valid, unexpired government-issued ID

• All pages filled out where required (no blank spaces unless allowed)

• Any co-signers present with their ID

• A clean, well-lit signing area

• Phone or email accessible in case the lender/title needs to be contacted

• Time set aside for about 90 minutes

Optional but helpful:

• Sticky notes removed

• Pets secured

• A table large enough for reviewing multiple pages

• Any lender/title company questions written down ahead of time
